Rockfords discussion

Did anyone else immediately think of our distinguished friend Buzzard when they saw the position vacant note? :D

Position vacant???
I received my rag a couple of weeks back and haven't read it yet.
Must get a move on.

Bottom of page 9, Buzz. They're looking for someone that might be able to help out on the cellar door - reckon it nigh screamed your name! ;)

Nice - xmas tradition sorted...Am grabbing some BP 13 also next week,

As I'm not a Stonewaller, I cannot get any BP until March :(

Between some Ashton Hills, Serrat and Rockfords my December wine budget is gone and it's only the 1st

I guess if someone could help me "find" a Rockford SVS I could increase said budget ;)

hehe, There is a lot of good stuff at the moment Steady, however I fear previous years mistakes mean I am being more cautious at the moment with my buying.

Been waiting for 1st Dec ;)

Maybe us mear mortals could learn from your mistakes penegal- common fess up.....

Vinomofo...?

Nothing really bad, just too many over-hyped rather average wines. I probably should have sent some more back, but never get around to it.

I literally have never sent any wine back to VM.

I really do need to get around to organising the "DRINK ALL THE PLONK" party before I move...

A STICKER WITH THE NAME AND VINTAGE OF THE WINE.... Very useful when trying to work out what's what.

Fair enough, I did go through a stage of buying a lot through VM, but then had a run of returns. That said I am happy with the final outcome

Boarding pass scanned.

Now, Princess Fiona and other medicos look away, please:

One of the upsides of having hemochromatosis is that they get you to have a liver biopsy (basically stick a hollow needle through the ribs to take a liver sample - much like sampling cheese). Came back puurrrfect. So I'm good for all the plonk that's going!

I would find that extremely limiting. Surely one of the pleasures in life is to unwrap one of those tissue-paper enclosed masterpieces (not 2016 VVR) to see what it is and, having done the unwrapping and found it to be a 1998 SVS  , decided that you can't wrap it up the same, so you'll just have to drink it?

There is always that joy... But sometimes you get confused and go too early :o
