Rockfords discussion

I can always have some put on hold for you. Just let me know.

So apparently the Basket Press will be all gone in a week or two...and I'm not getting to the Barossa until November. Sadness ensues.

Anyone know if they are selling the 2010 BP magnums at the cellar door now?

Not sure if available to regular people via CD, but certainly was available in the stone wall room in June (I picked one up).

I would give them a call. They may not sell it over the phone, but they should be able to indicate availability.

I would actually be keen for a second, given the quality of the 2010.

It is generally released to the public on the last weekend in March (or first in April?). It is best to visit shortly thereafter.

The 2013 will be released to Stonewallers in Aug or Oct, but won't be available to the public until the next March/April release.

Yes I should call - I recall it being mentioned in the Stonewall room that it would be available to the general public from the CD in about 4 weeks - maybe they hold them back until the current vintage is sold out?

It has been released now for anyone planning a visit, for that matter if anyone is planning a visit and does not want theirs please PM me :D

Plus 1 on taking your BP allocation if you are visiting Rockfords, and not taking it up!

I should start a courier business

With 5% commission and handling fee (plus postage)!

In fact, I'd probably pay at least 15% for the BP given how good that wine is for the cellar door price (and it's much higher secondary value)!

Am I selling you short at 15%, Buzz!?

I noticed today that a new vintage of Frugal Farmer has been released, it may have been for a few weeks.

Did you try it at the CD the other day Katy? I thought the '14 was much better then the '13 - has anyone tried the '15 yet?

I did try it and thought the '15 was better than the '14; not that I really remember the '14 but I didn't buy any of that vintage and I did purchase the '15.

Really enjoyable wine and well-received by the group I was with that night.

I must try some. When I tried the '14 I thought it was the best vintage (and first one I've actually thought good) so far. I'll have to try get my hands on the '15.
