I think I need to order some more of the Alicante for my mum.... the two bottles I picked up for her on the last trip are long gone. We also took her out for dinner for her birthday and took a Moppa Springs. She's lucky I wasnt well, she got to drink a lot more of it than would normally have happened.

Is this still the 2011 Basket Press? Or onto the 2012 now?

I don't know exactly how long 'a few months' is. I know the 2011 had been released by januay at least but not exactly when. I doubt 2012 is available yet.

That sounds like the public release. Perhaps someone who is actually a Stonewaller might share the real dates. But as best I can work out stonewallers have their release in about the 3rd quarter. Then the basket press and black Shiraz are released at the cellar door once they have a chance to accept their allocation. So the current black Shiraz was available at the cellar door in about November last year. Black Shiraz was at cellar door from January this year.

I based that on the cellar door staff telling me they expected basket press to be available of the cellar door in January, when I purchased black Shiraz last year. I took that to be confirmed by your statement that basket press was released in January.

Now I'm just confused, since you've said it wasn't released in January. Either way I expect stonewallers to be able to access 2012 basket press in the next few months.

I'd expect it to be some months after October.

IIRC it is January/February for non Stonewallers in order to give the members a reasonable time frame to get in first.

I wa sure it was March this year but I could be making things up. It also assumes that it doesn't sell out before it makes it to us plebs.
