Will be interesting to see what I can taste, though I clearly won't be drinking any of these for a while....
Is that saying every wine is affected, or just the BS?
Do you mean Black Shiraz? - Next years BS will be the 2020Maybe wait for next year's 2016 release of BS
Good things are worth waiting for.Received our delivery yesterday but I'm still a few months off being able to drink anything.

Yes the current BS is 2018 (just received mine but was released late last year). The one being released later this year will be the 2019, next years release would be the 2020.I think it will actually be 2019??
It's disgorged around August each year, and the Stone Wall member mail out goes out around 1 October. It appears that the 2018 BS has already been released into Cellar Door, and 2015 BP will be released on 1 March.

No need bucko - we can give get our hands on some Sunday - I always find it best to down at least 3 or 4 botts for satisfactory assessment.Yeah - I am not too sure about the 2018, but I have some, so may need to try it out... purely to assist AFF members.
Maybe we should organise a dinner

View attachment 154962 Unfortunately this 09 Moppa was catalogued incorrectly as a BP. Whilst drinkable, it was certainly way past its best.
On another note, for those interested I have organised a tour to Rockford and Elderton. If you're interested head over to the social threads or message me for more information.

I would have expected that to still be very drinkable at ten years of age. Storage or cork issue perhaps?
The cork was perfect so I'd take a bet it didn't like the storage conditions. Given that I don't necessarily have perfect conditions, as a rule I usually don't keep wine for more than 8 years.I was going to say the same; we've drunk Moppa older than that and it has been beautiful.
The wine front review is pretty dammingBP was released yesterday (well to non-stonewallers like me), trying to find any reviews - first year I’m being allowed to buy via mail order, previous years have all been via CD
