Rockfords discussion

If you are already going to the Barossa, you may as well pop by.

I went there a couple of weeks ago and took a colleague. We were working nearby that day. I picked up a few of the new vintage of Rod & Spur, while she picked up a White Frontignac, an Alicante Bouchet, and a Rod & Spur.

They had the Riesling, White Frontignac, Alicante, Frugal Farmer, Rod & Spur, and the fortified wine (perhaps 1 or 2 others as well).

But if you are thinking of going specifically to visit Rockford, there are better months to visit.

Thanks @mini2.
I've been a customer since before they even made BP and was in the first group of Stone Wall members.
I've always liked the Rockford philosophy.
I remember Robert telling me that he could sell all his wine overseas for a lot more than he was getting in Oz but he would rather sell to his loyal customers that helped him get to where he is, for cost plus a reasonable margin. If you look at what some places sell their wine for, and obviously I won't name them, I believe that to be true.
