The link above says BP is no longer available at the cellar door...do they mean forever, or just that vintage sold out?

Not sure which link? New release of the BP is available to Stonewallers as of a week or so ago. Either online or cellar door.

The 2020 is only just released. Ordered Saturday. Is a very good quality but limited release. If they run out they are going to bring a museum 17 back for a bit.

A "pub" in ADL has '18 Rod and Spur for $75 which I think is quite reasonable.
PS Marion Tawny for $8/glass is pretty good too.
The '18 BP is $140

I just opened a 2016 Rod and Spur this week. On the box it said $48 I think. So that's a bargain

I've seen the 16 BP selling for $289
Not sure though that's what you want to pay for it.

definitely not, I have 5 bottles of it I sourced from an auction for about $130-160 per bottle but wouldn't mind a few more of them at the right price

I know places in ADL selling BP for about $120 just not sure of the vintage. Other than an auction house, I doubt you'll find the 16 for the sort of money you mentioned.
