Oz_mark got it - the Cloth Hall in Krakow!

The memorial in Berlin was for the "Fraus" who demonstrated in Rosenstrasse for the release of jewish men arrested in 1943.

Close enough. It is the Orangery Palace about 500 metres away from the Sans Souci Palace.

Actually I though it was a much more 'earthy' shortening of a phrase.

The bridge is below a large fortress. The other memorial commemorates an initially successful robbery.

Here is another view of the bridge, and associated city, from 'above'.
