I have been enjoying this thread, even if I only knew a few of the monuments. So I will post a few of my own. All of these are in Germany so many of you would have run across them.

Actually I though it was a much more 'earthy' shortening of a phrase.

The bridge is below a large fortress. The other memorial commemorates an initially successful robbery.
