Any comments please about Electrolux fridges? Apparently they also make Westinghouses

Bought a Westinghouse pigeon pair in 1985ish. Never any problems.

Decided to ditch them after 30 years as they were looking rather dated on the outside (white painted) and so we got a side by side s/s Westinghouse. No problems in the 3 years we have had it.

However, neither fridge nor freezer is as wide as each of the pp so some larger items wont fit. Also, somehow I find it harder to find things in the fridge and the opening isn't big enough to get close up to the shelves so in order to do that have to open both doors.
Probably should have got a fridge with freezer on top (or underneath).

Ive got a Samsung side by side with a bottom freezer.
The reason for the side by side is otherwise the single door would be too wide.
And yes its difficult to clean because the drawers and shelves are difficult to remove due to limitation in the door opening

Next time Ill get a separate fridge and freezer combo
Much more energy efficient.

My parents' first electric fridge was a Hallstrom that they bought in 1951. In 1979 mum thought she had better update so although the Hallstrom was still going strong, in 1979 she traded it on an Electrolux. Nice looking fridge. Unfortunately mum passed away next year, so I took the fridge. The motor died one month after warranty expired. It was 13 months old.

Too much curry? ;)

On a serious note, just purchased a Shark NV800 vacuum. Very impressive machine. Better than my last 3 Dyson's.
If there is one complaint it's that the dust canister could be bigger.

Any Dyson users out there?
Looking for comments about Dyson Cinetic Bigball Vacuum
And Dysons in general

Thanks in advance
I have back issues and vacuuming was an awful issue for me trying to pull the cords and bending over etc. I could only do a room at a time and only when I could muster up the energy knowing I would have pain afterwards. Then I bought a Dyson cordless. Bliss. I now can vacuum as much as I want, sometimes daily if the gremlins have been in, and it’s incredibly effective. The canister does fill quickly after a hard run or if the cat is moulting. You can’t see it on the carpet but the Dyson picks it up. I’m a total convert.

I’d say that’s an older model as Dyson are all cordless now. We did have one of those and it was brilliant but when I went cordless my son gladly took it to his place.

I have a barrel and a upright Dyson - both are great. barrel is about 10+yrs old and you wouldnt know it by the performance/look. Upright is about 2yrs old. I use both, just depends which one Im near when I need it.

When we have our new house in a couple of years, Im going to buy the cordless stick for kitchen area.

This one. It also has a short wand for cars and under furniture.

I can easily do three rooms as now I vacuum whenever I see something on the floor or at least every other day. I’ve never vacuumied so often because it hurt to do so and just had to leave a less than perfect floor.

We have the same one and love it.

I have the animal and I dont own pets, I just have lots of hair that shreds a lot.

Very happy with it, I use it on carpet and I have a very old house with hardwood underneath so lots of dust as well. Lots. Of. Dust.

Edit: And yes, upright came with various nozzles for use.

Oh same problem here. Old house 1928. Dust. Dust. Dust.

We've got 2 Dyson handsticks - V9 & V10 Absolute+s. Haven't looked back since - they are excellent spot cleaning supplements to the 2 Neato Robovacs we've got that do the daily whole-house clean.

Buying the Absolutes gives you a ton of accessories which can clean just about every type of nook, cranny and surface under the sun.
