Roomba, Dysons, Thermomix and other household appliances

My sister swears by it, oven cleaner person, she has its done once a year and I was going to do the same

The damn sink didn't come with a waste assembly:mad:. On back order but the order was put in 13Aug24
Without the waste assembly, it cant be connected to the drain....

Went to get a generic one from Reece. Luckily they open at 0630am as the plumber was arriving at 0700.

The back order OEM waste assembly comes with the Brand imprinted on it. I think I won't be replacing it when it finally arrives but it is going to be seen as "unfinished".

Been a little while since I updated here but I made Cherry Ripe icecream in the ninja creami deluxe for Mr Denali

His only request was more cherries next time but still super yummy.

Made with:
1 scoop choc protein powder
1/4 cup lite cottage cheese
1 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 small can pitted cherries
1/8 teaspoon of xanthun gum
Soy milk
Before spinning leave on bench for 10mins
Spin on lite
I mixed in coconut flakes (I use the moist flakes) and a little bit of smashed Twirls (Mr Denali request)
and enjoy!

Got to use my new Ankarsrum shredder attachment today and very happy with it. Better than the kitchenaid, no chunks of cheese in the barrel when finished, can use bigger blocks of cheese and easier to clean.

How easy is it to clean>

........
Im interested in how a wooden block can be magnetic? šŸ¤”

Easier to clean the Anka attachments than the kitchaid. Big enough openings to fit a hand and scrub daddy and only about 2 small bits of cheese were inside when I took it apart. With the KA I would have a couple of chunks of cheese in the barrel and sometimes the outside of the cutting barrel would have thick smears of cheese on it, didnt have that with the Anka

Magnetic Wolstead knife block. Strong magnet and I have knives on both sides and no issue with them. When taking the knife off, I hold and turn the handle a bit and it easily comes off

So in the end the Thermomix cult initiation ceremony was a bit of a fizzer. I don't know why they bother. We already set it up and was using it several time by the day she arrived .
So you did have to go to one?

Dear Cult leader suggested that as we have a large kitchen and looks like we entertain (which we dont), we should think about getting a second one for making drinks and coughtails. Apparently you can only do so much with one šŸ¤£

Close family group suffered a severe dose of the Thermomix disease.
It is a big family and I suspect that between the family and friends they bought a lot of machines...

1.5m long

Tap on left is for the chilledfiltered and sparkling
Tap on right is normal water hot/cold

Some of the accessories are seen
The sink has 2 tiers - board with colander sits on bottom tier
The drying rack and cutting board sits on top tier.
Because the boards are slightly rectangular they can be turned 180deg to sit on either top or bottom tier. They can also slide from one end to another and the bottom tier boards can slide under the top tier board

There are also boards that completely cover the sink by sitting flush on the top tier - if relos come over and your sink is a messšŸ¤£

I never got the Thermomix craze. Arent the about $3K?
I went to a party. And the host made the most amazing sauce. I think there were five sold on the night. My girlfriend has two, one at her home in the city and another at her mansion beach house. She has much more cash than I do and I learnt at a very early age that I should not try emulate her.
