Roomba I7 and seperate mop getting tired and Roomba very annoying not returning to base consistently. Thinking of getting a new combined robot - an Ecovacs Deebot X5 pro.

I bought an ecovacs deebot X1 on amazon Black Friday sale last year and am quite impressed with it.

New models combine vac and mop and lift mop 15 mm to avoid carpet and rugs and looks interesting.

Keen to see what you think, I was too slow on the email.

Its out for delivery but Im also waiting for my Allulose delivery as the slushy mix needs sugar but Mr Denali uses diet drinks so it'll be about finding a balance of coke zero, allulose and a squeeze of lime (so its not too sweet) and not bloating his system because of the allulose. But then again, its not like hes going to drink 8 slushies a day so we'll start with less

You cant use only diet/no sugar drinks as the mix needs a sugar to crystalise but regular coke/sugar drinks or alcohol will work

Will be interesting to see if the soda stream mix needs Allulose as Ive read it doesnt so experimenting to happen

edit. I was watching youtube videos on the slushy and alloluse and some starting with a cup of allulose and I was thinking a tablespoon or two to start with 🤣. Apparently sugar content needs to be min 5grms

Slushie 1st attempt with a bottle of Solo. Super easy, started making slush in about 10mins but we let it do it's thing for 45mins. We tried the #2 preset pour, a bit sloppy for us, and #3 and #4 Temp pour and I put the videos here to compare. Ice headache was easily achieved
😂
.

Will start experimenting with diet soda stream with agave or allulose and lemon and limes next.

Super easy, if you wanted home made margaritas you will love this machine

Ninja slushie update and agave experiment with the Pepsi Max soda stream and it will slush.

You can buy this at Woolies and Coles. I used 2 tablespoons to a litre of mixed drink with carbonated water but I will experiment to reduce the agave.

Today I have the agave syrup down to one tablespoon for 1ltr of soda stream no sugar orange and mango on temp bar #1 and it will slush. I'm going to continue to keep lowering the agave

Mr Denali is a happy man 😂

After y'all forced me to get the KMart mini waffle maker, I've since also bought the mini jaffle maker, and boy do I love it! With crusts cut off and no butter on either side of the bread you get a lot of crunchy surface goodness. I use 2 slices of cheese with flavour in between... today was chili salt, but I've also used mayo, mustard pickles, gochujung, and chili jam. How many jaffles with the crusts cut off is it appropriate for an adult to eat in a single day?

Agave syrup is just a form of liquid sugar derived from cactus instead of sugar cane; curious as to whether its generally needed? We have made slushies (albeit in a different machine) without ever needing to add sugar - kombucha works a treat.

The slushi machine will not slush if the sugar level is less than 5gms so it need something to crystalise because Im using no sugar mixes (pepsi max, coke zero etc)

If I use standard drinks or juices it slushes with no issue. Ive seen people slushing beers although coughtails are very popular and I understand why

We have found kombucha (with typically has less than 7g natural sugar per can) mixed with sparkling water slushes fine, as does coffee (no sugar added, but there is natural sugar in the skim milk) or Bickfords cordials with sparkling water.

coughtails of course are great if they have diluted pineapple or cranberry or orange juice or passionfruit pulp as an ingredient. rose also works to make a frozay.

I cant drink diet drinks as chemical sugars like aspartame give me migraines and sugar alcohols cause IBS.

Have you tried the Bickfords Coffee, great in sparkling water. It has some sugar in it and so I expect it might slush.
I know what you mean about the diet stuff. I was taking medication for diverticulitis. When I was no good after a 2nd course I considered what I'd changed in my lifestyle and it was a recent switch to diet cordial. Pain stopped almost as soon as I ditched the diet cordial.
