A beautiful trip report.Brought back many memories.
Our days in Mustangs or similar are over as well.given one in Florida.Bags wouldn't fit and neither of us could get into the car which is just as well because if seated there would be no way I could get out.o_O:eek:

@drron, Somewhere in the middle of America, we actually got a little lost and ended up on a private farm road (don't ask me how). We'd been following Charlene's directions, but obviously took a wrong turn somewhere. The tar road ended and all we had in front of us was a goat track and a field of corn. The only options were a) to spend the night in the corn maze OR b) hightail it outa there along a lumpy old dirt track - before old man Peabody found us and went for his gun.

We chose the dirt track.

The trusty Toyota 4WD saved our skins that day, my friend.

I had a great time reading this, it was like being there.
We also love Signature Suites. I reckon they're great value, but for us the walk to the Strip seemed too long. Were we doing it wrong? Should we have been walking through MGM Grand? Seemed to take at least 20 min to hit the Strip. One cool memory though: the director James Cameron was leaving as we were checking in.
I digress, please go on more trips so we can have more TRs!
