I don't drink rum or know anything about it but I thought this was interesting:

For the Rum lovers or just curious, in Perth the Angels Cut in the upper part of the Trustee is worth a look.

Great story. Do you have a copyright on this phrase? I would like to use it in future. ;)

Oh and I won't report you to the grammar police either. :p

Use what ever you wish.
And hopefully the GP aren't looking!
What happens in the Rum and other bad habits thread ...

I won't tell either!

Not rum, but 10 years ago I awoke somewhere over the Pacific with a shocking hangover ... worst ever I have had in flight ...

It had been a looong day - as part of a DONE4 MR I had left DXB ~3am for LHR, arriving early morning around 8am. Back then BA was at was T4; hit the First Class part of the "Lounge Complex" for a shower and breaky, followed up with some mid morning bubbles before heading off to LAX, I was well fed and fluid infused on the LAX flight, with maybe a 3 hour nap.

I arrived into LAX mid afternoon on the same "date" that I had left the UAE.

(I was 'parking' the DONE4 at LAX and had a separate economy award booking home on QF108 connecting to MEL.)

Off to LAX T4 and the F/L ...back then the Qantas SYD flights departed from T4 ... a pleasant evening was had and extended by my introduction to QF10late. It eventually departed after 2am; I had moved around to the A/C before that and had been resolving the world's problems with the bartender.

On boarding I found I had a H/J/K row to myself (seems many had jumped onto QF12 due to the lateness of the flight). I was pretty adept back in those days in setting up a sort of bed with a few blankets over the buckles along with strategically located pillows and promptly went to sleep.

For hours or so later I woke up - dry as the proverbial ...
