This. Maybe it's the companies that I've worked for, but since when do you make random changes to a production system during business hours?
Yes. Absolutely they should... but not on the production systems. For something of this size/complexity, they should have test systems that lets them apply the changes in a sandbox. Pretty much every business I've worked in have had at least 2 separate systems in addition to the live production environment; usually a test system loaded with contrived data and and an integration system with a nightly snapshot of the live environment.if it's REALLY Agile they might be deploying small changes all the time...
