Sanctuary Cove an Platinum Elite Upgrades

Does anyone have sone experience in regards to their upgrade policy?
Rather generous or stingy?
Have booked 2 one night stays in October, standard rooms, anything else was unavailable.

Have you considered an Ambassador membership? In such a scenario, the upgrade policy would be clear cut

Had forgotten about that option. Will look into it. Upgrades in Europe are usually very generous, but guaranteed ones seem even better.

We’ve stayed at Sanctuary Cove under an ambassador membership and received an upgrade from a standard room to a marina view room.

Unfortunately whilst you could see part of the marina the predominant view was of the rubbish bins at the rear of the village Thai restaurant. Still a great place but not a great mandatory upgrade experience

Over 10 years ago I was a frequent guest there whilst staying in Australia on a working holiday. Had Plat status with Hyatt and access to hospitality industry rates, which meant I got upgraded to club level every time
