ChatGPT/AI can make it much easier for scammers too.
Ie, if you can't find a pix of the "girlfriend" who keeps sending you pixs of herself, as on here in the past, its possibile its AI created.

With respect if anyone thinks that quite convincing no wonder scammers do well.
It's about weeding out those targets who might give them trouble. Someone who responds to this is probably not going to string them along and waste their time without any hope of a result. Amusing but from their point of view non-productive. Likewise it's probably the more gullible who will be hooked in and stay gullible long enough to be drawn in deeper before suspicion dawns.

Also, remember that once someone has hit the link then their experience might be more personalised and credible.

The scammers want to weed out troublemakers early.

I got NightCafe to make me a picture of Emma Watson who had lost her shirt. I'm waiting for the day when AI characters run OnlyFans channels.

Then I can really clean up.

With a lot of the normal "other phone scams" now known, its probably more of the investment scams that will take over, the ones where they offer 300% profit over a short time type of thing, or the crypto making it sort of scam.
The discovery of the boiler room in Malaysia will also make it harder for other scammers, but it won't deter them.
If we all start to be aware of the fake delivery sms, and don't respond, they don't gain, neither do they gain if they say they are a "trusted" organisation, we also know about it.
So, its probably the "fake owner not in Aust" home rental scam, sucking people's super account dry, etc, sort of thing next.
Will be a long way ahead, for that Aust fed govt agency under ACCC to break the scamming cycle.
Hope it works out.

For Skyring, I wouldn't dare go that far.
In case my "casework" ever gets out into the public.
In my mind, mentally, I play around with the thought/s... but never would I do it on a laptop!
So, no one getting any more full blown "Anastasia/Aleyxia" loving emails anymore.

Idling pondering if there is a limit on iPhone of blocked numbers? My list must be quite long by now, anything that even smells of a scam goes straight to the blocked list unless I can't - its one of those damn texts from an alpha descriptor instead of a number.

And if not happy, spill the beans to the public.
Or spill the beans, for what ever reason, happy or not.
Seriously though, what can that Anti Scam Centre do?
