Scams like these

A lot of a certain nationality are now doing the deliveries, tho.
Have seen people using private cars, and not in uniform, delivering to people at front doors, while I walk past, ... the packages are grey coloured plastic wrapped packages, which I know, from buying online, a lot of ebay and other sellers are now using.
On the weekend, too, no less.
A well dressed girl in a quite nice new car dropped off a parcel to my front door, she didn't seem to fit the deliverer profile, she explained that she was just helping out her boyfriend . Nice girlfriend!

“Icould”? What on Earth is an “Icould”? 😆
Maybe meaning "icloud".

We all, or I do, use Google Maps.
And from that, Google knows your where abouts.
They know how many steps you take, how many km on a bus, how many km in a car...
Worst still if you pass a place, in your smartphone, Google will ask you to review the place.
Not a scam/but more so a spam.
Was in MEL from 24 to 26 Jan, now google is asking me to to review the KFC in the Crown in MEL, as in the casino.
Just because I needed to find the route from City Road to the Woolworths at Power St.
And on Google reviews, there is no spot for typing NA.

Oh I fully realise that was what they meant. Simply observing how poor the effort was for that particular phishing message.

Always have to remember that if you’re not paying for the product (e.g. Google Maps), then you are the product.

Same time, different date/s.
Must be a bot.
Probably trying to get a response from you to know if your number if life, and then start a scam/spam.
<Sarcastic voice> Oh really - I would never have realised that especially because it was the same name with 2 different numbers <End)

Come on Poochie - don't mean to be condescending but your comment smacks of condescension as though I hadn't worked this out - this is the spam thread after all

How can sms people at the same time,, on different dates, at the exact hour and exact min?
Has to be a bot.
From different phone numbers in HKG.
No way could I succeed in sending an sms to the same person, at the same split sec 2 days apart, will a few secs before or a few secs after.
Remember that guy that got nabbed in SYD with that special sms system he had going, betcha that is the same system the "asking about if you are the travel agent" sms is.
I will accept your gripe about being condescendingness, tho.
Its very likely that multi send out sms tool the guy had, was manufactured in China, and then brought to HKG, or that its still in China, but suing something to change the source country code to HKG.
---
Get a Mandarin speaking, or Cantonese speaking Chinese friend to phone the number back and see what happens.
And no, my Mandarin is just not acceptable, "bu how".

It seems to me that these both SMS could be from computer generated spoofed numbers ... ❓🤔

Tho, someone told me that (supposedly) with the NBN, for home phones, we are supposed to be able to block all these scammers/spammers somehow.
If we don't have a physical phone, and everything is digital, is there somewhere or somehow/something we can buy that blocks certain calls from ringing.
My mobile goes through VoLTE, on good thing, its a huawei of all things, and can block images from unknown numbers, or from blocked numbers, so I don't "accidentally" see someone's ###ger.
I keep seeing some thing called Splash, what ever that is.
Google is of no help.
Would be good if we could block say, all 265 country codes, etc.

So, we can now surmised that fake "linkt" has been "outsourced" overseas.
Mine have also now come in the early am, meaning its our very early morning, but in Africa, its their middle of the afternoon.
And yet, no Aust govt agency can stop all these.

My god, now, that is a very good one for those of the Christian faith.

Almost all scam SMS’s & ‘phone calls are from overseas, and have been for a decade or two … there’s no way to automagically tell whether a call or message coming into the country is legit with the current system, which is why they’ve not done anything about it (and why so many people were pessimistic about the gumbyment setting up that organisation to try & deal with it).
