Have been doing the bookings for many years for a club accommodation in the snow, and have received numerous emails like the one below.
So tempted to reply "we have vacancies but not for low lifes like you", but I just move it to the trash folder.
Obviously fake and some sort of phishing exercise, but I always wonder what their game plan would be if I ever replied.
Would also like to know how their scams work after responding and making a booking, but I am hoping I never find that bit out.

Does anyone know what these scams is all about?
Ive used fake details to sign up and register for fun

They have all these backend videos of the ceo and testimonials. Theyre talking about upvoting other peoples reviews/posts/products
Ive attached a screen shot of a section of their portal ,

I dont want to post the link/domain here in case i get accused of being the scammer or increasing their hits

At my work Email over the last few weeks I have received a couple of Email as Follows:

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Agnes Jansson and I'm from Sweden. I am writing to you today to request a pen pal friendship. I have always been fascinated by the idea of having a pen pal, and I believe that it would be a great opportunity to learn about new cultures and exchange ideas with someone from a different part of the world. If you are open to the idea, I would love to exchange letters and get to know you better. We could talk about anything and everything, from our daily lives to our interests and hobbies. I believe that this could be a truly enriching experience for both of us, and I look forward to hearing back from you.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Agnes

Sounds very like phishing to me!

I didn't realise I was a group member in the ANZ Credit cards class Action. What could ANZ have possibly done wrong? Must be lies and false accusations.

Phi Pinney McDonald Sounds legit but I'm not clicking on any links.

@JohnK ... do you actually have an ANZ credit card? 🙃

I still don't get how this scam works
Are you sure the scam isn't them selling upvotes (ie. marketing - pretending to give real 5-star reviews) to the places you're voting for, which is probably down at the more immoral end of a scale between immoral & illegal?

I think thats the gist of this scam.
Ive been given the login details.of the person, even though i was asked to sign up my own which i did. So im essentially doing their work of writing fake reviews.
Not sure if the scam is they wont pay me the comissions promised or im essentially doing their work for them
