Virgin Money trying to contact me multiple times today.

Apparently they have blocked a $1 transaction to TASTYPAYROLLCO and wanted to know if that was me. This looks to be some sort of (scammy) subscription service and people have a hard time getting their money back.

Anyway another card cancelled and need to wait for replacement card.

CBA fraud called today. I had to call back especially since they locked account.

Close to AUD2200 sent to Thai bank account and AUD180 sent to my Aunt in Greece via Western Union.

We see we've sent to Thailand before. Yes we go there often and I send spending money over. There have been lots of Western Union scams recently.

All good now but they had me scared after Virgin Money fraud earlier this week.

that is the exact same email I received where I knew the sender, and that their email account was indeed hacked.
I hope your sender knows they have been hacked.
