Scams like these

Don't have anything to do with the email. If you really want, you could ring AP and ask about the tracking number. Definitely report to ScamWatch

Don't ring, you could wait for ages.
Just go to the Australia Post website (but not by clicking any links) and you will see a track my parcel link. Use that link to enter the tracking number.
There are hundreds upon hundreds of those scam emails floating around. Given the parcel volume Post handle it's an easy scam.

Today was today the scam email regarding tax refunds, can't remember exactly but still.

Funny thing was that one turned up about 9:00am; and then 2 more turned up around 10am and then another at lunch time, not that I stopped for long.

Come on scammers can't you be just a little bit original.

Tax returns what was that about ?

That's a ripper JohnK. Of course I'm sure you saved the case notes by clicking through. No? That's a relief.
Looks like I am in big trouble as I got invited to attend the trial 05/05/2016 again. Hmmm.

JohnK in big trouble said:
[h=1]You have been invited to the court[/h]
You are invited to the law court by the judge because of crime commitment.

Please visit nearest police office or Save notices (link).
This time it is Save notices not Save case notices. Hmmm.

I got one claiming to be from Apple claiming I had 6 hours to update my Apple ID or my account would be deleted.

I don't have any Apple accounts.

One of the links had a .do domain and the sender email had.jp at the end.

The email claimed it came from a street address in Luxembourg. The spelling doesn't look right there but that's what the email said.

I got another spam Apple email. This time it said that my itunes account had been used to purchase an item on a device that previously hadn't been associated with the account. The return street address at the bottom of the email was the same as the Luxembourg address from the previous email. There was a bitly link for Apple updates in the email. I deleted the email.

As a precaution I checked the balance of my Qantas Cash account which I use for online transactions. There weren't any unusual transactions.

I've been feeling a little left out whilst reading this thread: no-one has wanted to give me millions, my ED has obviously corrected itself (either that or Svetlana isn't interested in me any more), so it was with some relief that Simon emailed me today:

I am writing you with regards to your protracted and stalled funds transfer from the U.K. and would urge you to accord this correspondence your full indulgence and attention, as the authenticity and difference would be evident if you do so.
As a freelance, independent External Audit expert assisting a private financial institution here in Britain in all aspects of their work, your transfer file came to my attention just this morning,
and I was compelled to take special interest in it owing to its peculiar history of procedural inconsistencies.
Obviously all the persons you assigned to process your transfer have proved to be incompetent.
Simply put it that they have given room to some management of the Bank to try and smuggle you through a non-existent back door.

My intention is to quickly reactivate and sort out your transfer without any distraction through a simple, transparent and authoritative means where you will not be required to pay any unauthorized fees.
You are forbidden to preempt anyone of this contact and I await your response at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Simon Jones

Oh coriander you obviously have a problem.Being away from home I have time to waste. In the last 25 days I am up to 18 different women who obviously know me so are offering themselves for my pleasure.Poor darlings I have ignored them all.;):shock::oops::confused:
