Scams like these

Got this lovely bill today :D Too bad I am not with AGL... and I dont think my electricity bill would come from Italy. Looks official enough to catch someone though.

I had similar-would almost certainly have fallen for it without Poochie's early warning-thanks AP and others

Just got a phone call from Wyndham Resorts - not going to fall for that win a voucher spiel. Once I mentioned that I was on the DNC register that got them into action very quickly

I purchased online a few nights ago, with both yesterday & today rexieving email from Mr Postie saying my parcel/shipment is about to be delivered.

Was thinking, thats bloody quick (scam alert, it won't occur overnight)..

Instead today, I manually went to mr posties website to check delivery status.

True! Now waiting at the local PO, as I was working when actually delivered.

I've been getting a lot of calls from 07 311 98000. When a number has a nice roundness like that I know it's a commercial caller and let it go through and they hang up when the machine cuts in. I traced it to QandA Market Research and found a general enquirers number and just now gave them a quick call and politely asked them to take me off their call list. Took 15 seconds and done.

Yeah they don't qualify for the "Do Not Call Register" due to the fact they are Market Research and they don't call to sell you anything.

The number has been around since 2013 at least.

I was feeling left out too :) but seeing as I live in WA, I didn't think I'd receive the AGL one - but lo and behold, it arrived in my spam folder yesterday.

I just got my second one yesterday :D The seem to want more money, this one is with an extra $200 :)

Now AGL is showing "Your monthly usage" scam email.
The Indian Scammers must be now working doubly hard to scam the world.
Pity AGL is not doing much in anti scam procedures.
It's now gotten beyond a laugh or joke.

While I suspect they are collecting valid (and gullible) email addresses, a venture capital firm wants my Project Business Plan for projects in the $1Million to $500Million size range. Oh, should I have such a deal in the works

Pity they didn't specify US$ or AU$. Not that it would make a difference in country WA

Happy wandering

A second round of the infamous AGL bills are turning up in this household also.

Just a PITA

Got a new one for all you cooking fans

Hey,
I am having a great day and I wanted to share with you the awesome and tasty treat responsible for my good mood! :) This morning, I made myself a delicious Banana Bread Shake! I took this recipe from my good friend Dave Ruel's Anabolic Cooking Cookbook:

Following is a "click here" to a tinyurl reference....

No thank you I have my mother's 1950 Betty Crocker cookbook for such things

Happy wandering
