Blue skies !!!!!! It's still grey and miserable down here, you definitely got the better end of the deal.

Getting our Outlander on at Clava Cairns. I'm guessing the GPS is set up for the most direct route, which was through farms and down small lanes that had us questioning the way but found it.

On to Culloden Battlefield, where I'm about to be robbed of 11gbp each plus coin only parking. Parking, really? FU, not likely there's a much choice elsewhere or any other way to get here.

Loved the Cava Cairns! Don’t worry. Culloden is worth every penny.

Plus there are Coos in the fields next to the parking.

Outlander? Ooh. Jealous. If you see Jamie say Hello. Watch out for those rocks.

Actually the Clava Cairns, while fabulous to visit, have nothing to do with Outlander. But then again it’s all just fantasy.:)

Well Denali mentioned Outlander. I can dream. Jamie is a nice dream :D

Current situation, a equally wonderful B&B as the one we just left.

We booked both rooms as they only have double beds but honestly, we're also enjoying the alone time (24/7 for a week now).

Signed parking at front, our own living room to relax with wood fire. Room has coffee maker, water, snacks and wall wired usb ports to charge and the bathroom is really nice with big bathtub. Edit. I've just found international adapters in the bedside draw.

Current view from bed, Loch Ness.

Unless they murder us in our sleep, highly recommend, Urquhart Bay Bed and Breakfast – Luxury rooms overlooking Loch Ness

Our B&B hosts, who were chefs in another life, also offer dinner so we said yes please!

Leek and potato soup. Chicken stuffed with Scottish cheese and wrapped in bacon, plum (from their tree) crumble and lemon curd cheesecake thingy.

Very fond memories of Scotland and maybe a wee bit jealous - taking notes on B&B for next trip

Keep having fun
