Seat poacher

A few days ago I accidently poached 5A when allocated 4A on QF A220. I counted 3 rows of Business class on the left side and instinctively took the window seat of the 4th row on the right. Much bewilderment when occupant of 5A came along and said 'you're in my seat' but happily sat in 4A.

After much looking at seat stickers on the overhead bins and the alignment of seats it finally dawned on us both there is no seat 3A/3C.

Had a similar experience with a seat poacher on QF178 (ZQN-MEL).
My wife and I had 4A/4B, but our boarding was left to last due to a Passport scanning error by check-in staff. We were the last to board and a surprise to us and the FA, a male was sitting in 4A.
When approached by the FA the male proceeded to head south down the aisle.
Lucky for us 4C was also empty, but was occupied by the FA several times in flight due to turbulence.
