Seat poacher

A few days ago I accidently poached 5A when allocated 4A on QF A220. I counted 3 rows of Business class on the left side and instinctively took the window seat of the 4th row on the right. Much bewilderment when occupant of 5A came along and said 'you're in my seat' but happily sat in 4A.

After much looking at seat stickers on the overhead bins and the alignment of seats it finally dawned on us both there is no seat 3A/3C.

Had a similar experience with a seat poacher on QF178 (ZQN-MEL).
My wife and I had 4A/4B, but our boarding was left to last due to a Passport scanning error by check-in staff. We were the last to board and a surprise to us and the FA, a male was sitting in 4A.
When approached by the FA the male proceeded to head south down the aisle.
Lucky for us 4C was also empty, but was occupied by the FA several times in flight due to turbulence.

Just accused of seat poaching on Sunday flight
My wife had got on a few people in front of me as we boarded from a bus
I come to my seat next to her and am about to put my laptop bag up the top
Next thing this woman is a few inches away from my face and says to me in a sing song voice and moving her head from side to side “Looks like someone is in the wrong seat “
I ignore her and put up my laptop and proceeded to sit in the seat
She is furious but eventually looks up at the seat numbers
“Oh, this is number 13, it’s so confusing “
The seat numbers are literally directly above the seat
I then look at her and say “You are the someone “

I’ve inadvertently poached seats a couple of times, but happily moved when asked.

Once though I was asked to move from my window seat on a longish flight to a middle seat to allow a family to sit together. I refused, much to the annoyance of the FA. I then had a nap without a hint of guilt. Probably a bit nasty of me.
No. Middle seats are awful

Yesterday, flying on a 737 service from Perth to Sydney, I was seated in 2C.

A young woman came onto the aircraft and plonked herself in 1A.

I didnt think much of it except the real 1A duly turned up.

He asked her if she was in the right seat. She got up and then wandered down to at least halfway down the aircraft.

I am still wondering whether it was deliberate or she was an airhead.
Or just a deliberate air head
