Seat selection in new system?

I seem to be unable to select seats when booking on any J flight on an E90

Same, I just rang up Virgin to get my seats allocated seems a pain when it should just be selectable online

Not just the E90 - judging by posts in various threads, this has happened to a number of people with A330 J bookings as well.

Same with most legs of flights I booked for the missus and I, except one which did let us select E90 seats.....so one out of five
