One AFFer contributed a great bottle of red, which I put in the cupboard to protect it from sliding off the kitchen bench, it was still there undrunk when I cleaned up yesterday.

Sorry about that, it should have been consumed although I think I consumed my monthly intake in one day on Saturday.

Finders keepers rule applies to that bottle of 407 that was left over Matt. I won’t need it back as I have a stash of reds and bubbles in our Sydney flat.
If you make it to the Sydney AFFer gathering we can talk frequent flyer stuff if you want some ideas on flying best for the least.
A great day out.

A trick I learnt many years ago - always carry a stash of Ikea battery tea lights in your bag. You can use them for emergency lighting, mood lighting for special moments, forming magical circles when you need to invoke the travel gods when you're stuck in some horrilble airport etc

I thought it was because he must have been on the BAM at night before understanding how the power works!
