So I've recently relocated from Sydney to Perth.
All our household goods are currently in storage and being picked up next month and transported over via container + train. They estimate to take approx 2 weeks in total.

My wine (8 cases) is at a friends place being stored with his wines. I now need to find a way of getting it over here.
Rather than it sit in a hot container for 2 weeks... any recommended shipping/freight companies?
I could go Aust Post, but seeking any other suggestions.

What makes you think AusPost don't have it sitting in the back for a truck in unfavourable conditions while crossing the continent? ;)

Depending on what you find you're going to be charged for shipping in a refrigerated reefer you might just be better off taking is as checked luggage. Being QF WP it might be sufficient.

Agreed, this is what I'm doing with my wine stored in Melb - bringing some back to Perth on each trip (6 in a checked suitcase, 6 in my hand luggage, and 6 with my +1's hand luggage (cheeky, yes I know))

Why not just get some decent wine shipping cardboard boxes and check the boxes as fragile. I've done this with wine domestically and no issues. You could potentially tape two boxes together as one piece, since they go be weight.
