Looking at the shop small list, many businesses have been taken off the list.

Lots of comments on OzBargain about merchants that were on the list last year not bing on it this year. I'd wait until closer to the date. Almost every cafe in Sydney we went to during the period was participating.

On the flipside, businesses that no longer accept Amex/closed up shop within the last 3 months are still on the list. All the servo's been missing since the last round.

Excellent news. Took advantage of this the last time it was run and it falls right over my Birthday this time!

I might do a shop small pub crawl in my area. $20 is enough for a coughtail. 3x coughtails for $30 is not bad (per card) and I have 2 AMEX cards, and 2 Bank Amex Cards.

This also works for a day to manly.

I've searched my area and it's not looking so good this time around.

Same. It's hard enough in CBR to take full advantage of this but seems more than a few from last Nov have dropped off.

Any Canberrans care to share their battle plan?

At the risk of sounding like a drunk guy arguing with himself, I don't think I was using the website properly. But it's rubbish so that's not my fault.

I just searched by name for a few places I hit up last year, and they're all there. I'll be hitting up Biginelli's (cafe) and the Southern Cross Club at least.

Also, does anyone know/remember if supp cards get a credit if the main card has been used at the same place?

Yes if you register supp cards separately they'll also qualify for $10 credit except for those issued by CBA & Westpac (supps have same number as primary card) as they've not yet figured out how to do it or issue more than one supp.

Koko Black to stock up on chocolates and Pialligo Farm for bacon jam and bacon. I thought Super Toyworld at Fyswich was on the list at some stage but seem to have dropped off...

There's basically sweet FA in my neck of the Canberra woods (inner north). I'm tempted to introduce the cherubs to Koko Black but paying for parking would negate the half price hot chocolate.

Looks like I am going to take up the offer at 8bit burger and stalactites. A sportsco near me is on the list. Hopefully all take AMEX...

The weekend falls conveniently over my birthday weekend, so I shall be heading out for some drinks and a nice meal, and AMEX will be giving me a little cash! :p

At least one of the spots I'm going to try for is Etsu Izakaya on the Gold Coast, a must try for anyone that visits!
