Shop small to return in November

That would cost you more in man hours than the return in credits!
I took a pragmatic approach, redeeming where I could but not bursting a gasket to reach a pre-set goal.

We planned most of our trips knowing which card still haven't been used at which servo and which route will net the most servo's. Sunday was only difficult as we've exhausted most of the nearby servo's with all of our cards.

Just an update. After my email to AMEX about 2 restaurants that did not want to take the card, the customer service got back to me pretty soon. Today I have received the $10 x 2 as promise, roughly one week after the refused transaction. Impressed with AMEX customer service.

First time using this Shop Small promo and really liking it. Thought it was a gimmick when first saw it in the previous promo. In all, managed to get $10 x 20 (two cards). Partner managed $10 x 7. Been a very rewarding month since I also got the $10 + $50 from tripadvisor and $50 from Myer.

A note with my statement offering 15% discount on using points to pay for shop small purchases before the end of January. I only did one shop small purchase, so not a big deal for me, might be useful for others. The process is to log into the App, select the shop small purchase and the choose to pay with points.
