QF127 to HKG on 26th Dec was pretty much full, but QF128 home last night (31st) wasn't. Whilst J was full, there were only 10 of 35 Premium Economy seats occupied, i had no one in row in front or behind me; and there looked to only be 4 people in the Y mini cabin upstairs. Such a shame you cantl8ft arm rests in PE to stretch out when so many empty seats.

The lounge was fairly empty pre-fligut too.

Went to Disneyland on Nye. Maximum waiting time was 20 minutes. Most of the ride I only waited for 5 minutes. Excellent time to go to Disneyland. We are going back there again today.

Ctrip has some excellent deals on hotels. Non-branded 4 star hotels are like $2xx HKD, 5 star hotels are like $5xx HKD close in. Ctrip bought a whole bunch of hotel room a year in advance for Chinese tourists. Since they don't come anymore they just release these rooms at the last minute.

They were $2000 more than Qatar for same destination and about the same as Qantas. And I much prefer Qatar.

Prefer QR over CX or over QF? I have a choice coming up to return to AKL out of Europe on BA & CX via LHR & HKG (three flights total, 12 hours in HKG) or QR via DOH (two flights, 2 hours in DOH). Leaning towards CX for lounge hoping.

I prefer QR over EK, CX and QF and they are also in that order of liking.
