All in due time. VA is not well known for op-ups although your status could give you an op-up on VA partners.thanks JohnK. never had any beeps![]()
Generally that a new boarding pass is required. More than likely in a higher class cabin.![]()
op-downgrade can never happen to me
i am rich enuff to afford a discounted economy ticket at max

op-downgrade can never happen to me![]()
LTG is the sole reason I keep flying QF and not VA, when given a choice.
They don't even have a international pub in MEL
That said, when VA revamped, that didn't seem to be a big issue to many people. Not sure why it touches on nerves now.
Because the NZ lounges in BNE/SYD/MEL are rubbish..?![]()
I have made mention of this in another post about the new EY lounge in Syd only being for London flights.
Only being for LHR or AUH transiting flights? I hope you mean AUH as that's were we're going. I'd like the EY lounge use in SYD rather than the Koru Lounge.

Yes my bad swanning_it I did mean both LHR & AUH. I was a bit tired last night and the brain wasn't fully engaged. Enjoy the EY lounge.
I would assume only AUH. VA only fly to AUH (or did I miss the bulletin that they are flying to LHR now? Me = living under rock...)
If you flew any EY service (which must go through AUH anyway), I'd assume as a Velocity elite, you would have lounge access. I guess I'm also assuming that this is perfectly valid for EY operated services, e.g. if you have two VA codeshares going SYD-AUH-LHR (or CDG or FRA or whatever) with both on EY, you can still access the EY lounge if you have the right VA status.
