A week ago I walked the 1.2km from Kampung Baru KJL to the same hotel at 10pm and the area was jumping.

Originally I was flying Business back to MEL with JL 2am Monday to HND then JL to SYD with VA to MEL - booked in October.

Early this year I became concerned and booked economy QF to SYD as a backup.

Sure enough the JL flights were canceled but I was able to rebook Business on MH SIN-KUL-BNE. So enthused I was, I stupidly canceled the backup.

In April the MH BNE flight was canceled.

I am now travelling economy SIN-(MH)-KUL-(MH)-BKK-(QF)-SYD. ... Then the VA flight to MEL ... it's been the one constant.

A week ago I walked the 1.2km from Kampung Baru KJL to the same hotel at 10pm and the area was jumping.

Ok, a challenge I like for someone who has not been back in three years, I am sure much has changed.

I know the feeling...my flights are changing every few days too. MH cancelled my connecting flights between SIN and KUL both ways and each time I have had to re-do the booking as the options provided is not to my liking.MMB is cough as you can't select alternate flights and you wonder why call centre is overloaded. I hope no more changes after latest notification this evening. Tired

I'm still looking. Nothing booked yet as depends on some other travel and of course remaining covid -ve.

In the next 6 weeks I have 1 trip to Oz, 1 to uk, 1 more to Oz maybe, and maybe uk again (via sin). The last one if it works out will align with this weekend. Plus of course domestic travel in nz.

I was in SIN yesterday and to my surprise the BA lounge was open. Hot food can be ordered via QR code from 5pm. I just stayed there and didn't visit the QF lounge.

I didn't look hard for it, but I did not see an EK lounge.

Well it looks like my Sunday 9:15pm SIN-KUL flight will operate, but my 3:30pm arrival to SIN from KUL has been cancelled.

My MH flight on the 1st of June from KUL to SIN was cancelled and I was moved onto a flight the next morning. Guess I'll have to book a transit hotel in KLIA for the night.

MH have canned the several 737's to/from KUL that afternoon, replacing with just a couple of 330's- including my 2115 departure. I am still on the last flight SIN-KUL but now scheduled for 1715.

That would give me ½ an hour tops in the BA lounge. I have been able to arrange an earlier 1330 arrival into SIN from KL.

Edit: so what lounges do you think you will get to? QF, BA and SATS Premier (courtesy of MH)?

I can get to QF, BA and Marhaba (courtesy of AY/Priority Pass) and possibly SATS with PP.

@harvyk are you limited to QF and BA? I think I can guest you into SATS with PP.

So I guess the real question is not how many people make a lounge crawl - but how many lounges!

With the change in MH schedules I have re-optimised my accommodation and will be at the Doubletree (Intermark) Saturday night; Chow Kit (via Kampung Baru) still fine or anywhere else.
