I'll be flying on Virgin DJ467 on the 26th of July Perth to Brisbane and I have a couple of questions for those of you in the know.

Which aircraft is it likely to be? As far as I can tell it would be a 737 with a 3 and 3 seat configuration.

There are four of us flying together but on three separate bookings. It would be nice if we could all sit together. What's the best method for making this happen. Should I get us all to log on for an online check-in together as soon as OLCI becomes available and look for 4 empty seats near each other or would I just be best to ask at the check-in desks when we all turn up at the airport?

Yep, 737. Scarebuses to syd (& Mel I think). Call and have them allocate you all seats if your able to do that on your fare / status.

To be safe, I'd suggest you do log in at the same time when OLCI opens. Alternatively you could get all three bookings in your hand and do it yourself one after the other. Although be aware there is a bug on the VA website when doing this for passengers with the same family name. When doing consecutive OLCIs the VFF number carries over from the previous booking into the next booking and you can't change it, nor can you proceed with the OLCI (as the name doesn't match pax details). It's happened 3 times in the past and never gets fixed. You have to call up the call centre and get them to remove or change the VFF number.

Thanks for the advice guys! I made a call and nothing is guaranteed but they will try. It definitely helped being Velocity gold. I'll still do the OLCI thing to make sure.
