The press release makes no mention of redeeming points, it may depend on the codeshare agreements. So probably ok until 26 / 2 / 26. Then who knows.

Makes sense to be using T3, given the codeshare deal.

Classic+ is QF metal only. Skytrains is not QF metal.

I would not pay nearly $1400 per person return. We have been to LHI 3x using Qantas points. Unless I can get award flights again, may never get back there again

agree here.

Eagerly awaiting to see how the QF-QN agreement pans out.

As far as I can see, QF have only confirmed that you'll be able to book QF-coded flights for points and SC earn once the agreement goes live but I don't think they've explicitly mentioned anything about redemptions. Fingers crossed.
