Slam, bam, thank you Ma’am, 48 hours in Queenstown

Smart gate would not work for me. Went green and then red and wouldn’t let me through.
Quick walk to assistance and I was on my way.
Luggage took a while to come out but I breezed through customs etc.
and the bonus was I was able to get the 7.45pm Gull bus back to Geelong instead of the 8.55pm that I had booked.
I’ll be home by 9.30pm which pleases me greatly.
That’s it folks.
Quick trip and probably pretty boring although the naked show will be etched into my mind for a while and not in a good way.
Doing china and Korea in late January so until then friends.

Oh yes, thank you.
Fergburger is def on the hit list.
I consider this a small sample for when I’ll be back.
I really want to go in the dead of winter next year.
So did you do get to Fergburger?

Another place I recall is Winnies, a basic pizza joint that is more of a bar after hours but the party trick is the roof opens up...so its winter and snowing, the bar is hot from people dancing and ovens etc and next minute it is snowing inside and cold. It was a while since my last visit, maybe its shut now.

That sounds like my kind of place.
Fergburger was packed every time I walked past.
Next time.

"Have a Speights with ya Mates" was an ad I remember from my trips.

Fergburger is always packed...even 30 years ago on my first visit.

Your landing into Queenstown reminded me of this video. An aircraft, descending into cloud, close towards a mountain. There are somethings a passenger should never see...

Edit: Same clip, better music.

ZQN was the destination of my worst ever flight 😨
Yeah not liking this thingy...

The track is 1.6km and unfortunately it was all over in a few minutes (that’s what she said).
Have to ask, is this a Chatabix reference?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, and there's every chance that you don't, then we'll forget it ever happened.
