Snobbery at the Qantas Valet Parking

I think it could also be that owners of Ferraris and Astons, etc, are pretty conscious of where their car is parked (ie thinking about it every single time you park or, rather, every single time you leave the garage). So they are perhaps more likely to ask about where their car will be parked or even request it be parked in a particular place and, eventually, this might just become the SOP at valet parking. It's not so much theft as door dings and other carelessness that seems to be of concern.
