So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

Sold this Lexus NX350 F Sport for 68K last week - 19mths old 17K kms on the clock:

During negs dude who bought it indicated he wanted to transfer funds on the spot and drive away - I told him no drive away until I see all funds in our account - he pondered that for a few secs and replied ‘OK how about I bring you cash’ - ‘You will bring me 68K in notes?’ - ‘Yes’ - ‘Ah no I don’t think so - plenty people been killed for a lot less than 68K’.

He transferred funds Thu and they in our account Sat so he collected this morn 👍

I paid 80k for mi-eg on the spot after flying in to the cellar to view it .
The owner used the same bank and was stunned when the transfer was in his account in less than 10 min

Yes a few layers to this - firstly you must have transfer limit sufficient to accommodate the amount - which he didn’t - then if it’s a 3rd party bank no guarantee transfer will be under 1 to 2 to 3 days - banks are a law unto themselves

IMO, the burning at the stake of fuel efficient modern high speed diesels will be a source of enormous regret in the fullness of time.
Electrics are a dirty (coal powered) resource hungry stop gap.. buy in haste repent at leisure

I'm looking at getting a new numberplate, but options here are a bit limited.

Using a leetspeak translator helps, as well as doing some character substitution automatically using search and replace.

On the auction list there is ASBESTOS DVLA Auctions of Personalised Registrations, ABIGBOY DVLA Auctions of Personalised Registrations, YOUTEST DVLA Auctions of Personalised Registrations

Can anyone else come up with anything interesting / creative?

There's also the direct purchase, and this one is similar to what @JohnM saw recently ;)

I currently drive a g20 2022 bmw 330e M-Sport. Ill
Soon be selling this and getting a new BYD Seal Performance as I want to go AWD full EV.

If anyone is interested in the 330e pm me. It’s been a great car but it was a stop gap until a non Tesla came along that I wanted to buy… (not a fan of the Tesla)

In the future I am going to down size to this, I just like it. Dropping from current daily driver with 330HP to around 44HP may take some getting used to.View attachment 383475
I've been mulling over what project I will do after I retire (shortly I hope). There are so many of these left in the world, you can get newly manufactured spare parts.
