Two different scenarios where I'm not sure lounge access was meant to be given but was gratefully received anyway.
Firstly is PER-SIN and SIN-PER on QF metal but on the JAL codeshare. Y class but QP member, my reading of the T+Cs some time ago was that I was not meant to have access. Is this true, as they let me in without batting an eyelid?
Next, on an (AA) AONE4 travelling on BA metal LHR-DME but in J class as no F on the flight. Allowed in to the BA Concorde room by the manager, who stepped in after the door dragon would not allow access. The only logical reason for this, as far as I can see, is that if there was F they would have been on it, and so were entitled to access.
Any thoughts?
