Are you talking about the bonus points or 20% discount. When was the transaction date and how long did it take for the bonus points to be posted ?

It works fine for me , have not transferred the points but it seems to be working as I can update the points to be transferred.

I’m hoping for a bonus velocity points with flybuys transfer offer. I’ve got ~300k flybuys points and understand that I’ll need to transfer some before the end of the calendar year. Would be nice if they had an offer with no limit on how many points you can convert.

Have you not had any transfers this year , in memory the maximum lot that can be transferred to velocity is 138K per year.

This is the bonus 20% points when you buy Velocity points from VA. There are different threshold levels and for each level the bonus is 5% or 10% or 20%

Ah ok , the reason for my query ... the discount offer is also something similar and offering different discounts at different levels. Do you mind me asking what was the point per cent ratio in your case when you bought the points.

I have received a couple of 15% bonus transfer offers throughout this year but I have never transferred points over. I do remember one last year which I stupidly missed out on which was a 20% bonus with no limit on transfers. As its limited to 138k per year I'm hoping for a good offer before the end of this calendar year that way I can transfer most of the remaining early next year. This is presuming they don't do what Woolies/QF have done recently and enact some sort of auto transfer which would end the bonus transfer offers and stop the stockpiling of points.

Slightly OT but when I was pricing out SYD/HKG/HND--NGO/HKG/SYD in Amadeus today for a trip later in October it returned $1045.75 using VA/NH combination.....
