(If there **really** is 10 million, could be less could be more.)
Tonight they announced mid-flight that they’d just reached 10 million members. But considering the counter on the website had a release date of today (according to the tech savvy folks in this thread), who knows if it’s actually accurate.

Interesting that Velocity value the points at 3.17c each (total prize pool $317k). I'd be surprised if many people (other than those booking J redemptions) got anywhere near that value. I'm no accountant, but I'd also be surprised if that was what was reflected on their balance sheet as an increased liability.

In any event, an interesting outcome will be an understanding of how many of the 10m members are engaged to the point that they activate the offer within the app (this being an app I was unaware of till this promo).

Just booked J fares return to LAX, which I was going to purchase anyway. Now it's on double points. I'm happy.

Mr Clipped's Platinum Status is up for review in March 2020. All flights this year through January 2020 have been redemption. So we've watched his balance trickle from 1430sc and >680,000 points, dwindle to a level that would trigger water restrictions if it was a dam.

Ergo, the odds of retaining Platinum, even with those adorable SC gifted from Velocity - are two thirds of five eighths of three quarters of (Sweet) FA.

Win domestic flights for a year promo.

Althought I do have to book some flights for hubby and was hoping to wait for a double SC offer.
