The majesty of Spinal Tap, this got a run in 2008 as I walked around the sacred monument with my then 2 year old son

I still remember Little River Band and their Las Vegas Hilton song. In the eighties I would travel to the US for trade shows by myself in economy and calling home was poisonously expensive using a hotel operator at around $7.20 US per 3 minutes. Leaving the US on Saturday evening would get you back to Australia on a Monday. Catching the 747 SP Qantas flight is now just a memory.

Did you get home on a Monday, somewhere around noon?

Almost Warks.
In the 1980s I had to get off in Sydney then get thebus around from international to domestic to get on a flight to Perth.
I was always happy to get to Sydney and I think I got to Perth in the early afternoon.

Memories like the corners of my mind....

Can never get enough of the 747's. The 777's and Qantas preferred A330 are just not the same.
