Sparkling (Shiraz or Red) Recommendations?

Qantas wines have Bests ‘17 on a QFF points sale atm that caught my eye - not sure what it is like though
Calling @redbigot, I believe he has tasted this one recently. Bests are a shiraz specialist and my understanding is that this is a very good SS.

Normally wouldn't be interested in using points but I have a fair few and this actually looks like a reasonable use of points (about 1.6/1.7c value) and its not as if Ill be able to go to Europe any time soon.

For me, Rockfords sparkling shiraz is always a good deal :)
Very nice wine but certainly doesn’t rate as a deal for me. Plenty of other options for me outrate as regards value for money.

In fact I’d go so far as to say the last Rockfords I had was a bit underwhelming, good but not good enough for the price.
