Quite impressed with this. As I walked out of the shop I got an email confirming that id just made my qualifying purchase.

Provided it goes through, it's pretty painless.

Yes, it all goes through pretty quickly and amex inform you promptly. Different offer but I purchased a bar fridge yesterday on the Hardly Normal offer. Advertised down from $449 to $399. I got them to price match another retailer (2nds World who didn't have it in stock) for $329. By the time I got home with the fridge I had received an email saying amex would credit $30 to my account. Sweet deal. ;)

Might have a look at the gift cards available in LL as well, as their liquor prices are high, certainly compared to DMs.

Don't know what you're into... But they have Stella cases for about the same as DMs at the moment.

I picked up two cases of Bud for $84 plus it came with two free 1.5L share bottles. Not bad value.

I've just tried to register some of my cards. Ice used different email addresses as I'm not sure if the system really cares if you have the same email address but a different card number or both. Ive received the confirmation message after inputting each card on the site but not received an email for every one of them. For instance, both my platinum edge cards registered but had no confirmation emails. My charge card registered and I got the confirmation email. My cba Amex also registered and I got the confirmation email.

Does it only count if you receive the confirmation email or does it count anyway? I like that Amex give you immediate email confirmation once you've spent the $$ to trigger the offer. Just want to make sure there's nothing else I'm not considering.

Had a similar experience with one of the other promos - registered one Amex issued card and one bank issued card and only rec'd the email confirmation for the Amex issued card. Email address for both was the same. Tried to register the other card again and it said card was already registered.

Other times I have rec'd one email for each card. Seems to be no consistency.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Have you received the offer you registered for on the other cards even though you didn't get the registration confirmation email? I guess that's the real test.

I can't answer that, as the promo it happened was the competition where you receive an entry to win $5000 for every $50 spent at selected retailers.

For the LL offer, I rec'd an email for both cards.

Just tried the gift card purchase. Email rec'd straight away confirming the credit.

Just checked in my amex online saved offers and it's registered. Can't see it registered for the supp but can site won't let me register the supp again so will just give it a try tomorrow I think. Hopefully will get the confirmation email after transaction.

Has anyone had any joy with getting the $20 credit more than once on the same card?

It says in the T&Cs that its limited to one credit per statement, so that implies it might be possible (depending on your card cycle) to get twice.

Am seriously having difficulty finding any value with this promo - I registered 5 cards and used 1 - $20 rebate appeared so it does work - just their pricing isn't helping - others?

See posts #18, #19 and #30 - did it for three AX cards @50ea - successfully.

(Helps if you would indeed shop at coles for staples such as groceries etc. in any case.)

Thanks serfty - but would just make this promo so much sweeter if LL indeed did have a special on some decent Champers - I rarely shop at Coles - I frequently drink Champagne.

Fair enough - not every deal works for all - SWMBO thought it a sweet deal getting $150 "normal" spend for $90 ...

Depending on what you call decent, before christmas LL had moet two for $99 so used with the amex $20 credit rebate equates to around $39.50 per bottle... (not bad) but since Mrs shintaro10x has a staff card which was also used, made the price sweeter by 5% additional discount.

But agree LL normal prices are only "ok" even after the amex rebate

Hi all,

Is there a way to confirm that your card has been registered? (besides being directed to the generic 'Thank you for registering page')

Also, is the best way to keep up to date with these offers via liking their facebook page?

Thanks in advance for the answers :)
