Christmas coughtails again today but Rad Na noodles on the menu (I've never had it before so didn't know what it should taste like but added some kim chi):Qantas Business Lounge Melbourne in a particularly festive mood today, with the floor staff handing out Christmas coughtails (Vodka & Rum, from memory), ice cream sandwiches and fruit cups, whilst I munched down on my delicious wonton soup from the Spice Bar.

Really quite meh.
OT but they are doing free embossed luggage tags from 3pm to 6pm, and my family and I were given Roodolph PJs on entry. Onesie for the little one is cute!

My little cousin got a kangaroo (called Matilda!) plush toy wearing a Christmas Qantas T-shirt from the lovely MEL J lounge staff!
Is MEL the only lounge handing out all these goodies? Really made their day!

I’m here having it too. They forgot the chicken in my chicken version!
it’s actually rice vermicelli (FYI) today
Noodles implies made from flour….was what I was expecting. Actually prefer rice vermicelli. It's always rice vermicelli...
Also called Rice Noodles, not to be confused with cellophane noodles.Noodles implies made from flour….was what I was expecting. Actually prefer rice vermicelli.

Rice noodles and cellophane (AKA glass) noodles require very little cooking, which is convenient for places such as the Spice Bar, and they are gluten free.We starting a thread on noodles . Did some quick poking around. Spice bar was lazy. Type of noodles should be made clear given there was no sample. as noodles are made of some kind of starch/flour normally wheat, rice, tapioca etc.
Cellophane noodles = glass noodles? I tolerate but won’t have it if other options
