The Thai style chicken was both very nice and no so much. I had one and really enjoyed it so went back for a second and a different person plated it completely differently with different ratios of ingredients- even left 2 ingredients off until I handed the bowl back and requested them.

I like all the ingredients, but form is the chicken. Hopefully not minced!

In the lounge just now and the choice is beef or vegetable Randang. Absolutely delicious so I went back twice for more (without the toothpaste aka Coriander on top, of course ).



Other hot option now out is an also rather tasty “Japanese style pork and miso stew” which has surprisingly decent cuts of pork meat in it.

People can complain about Qantas as they like, this foot puts any Virgin lounge to absolute shame- easily. And of course, the “panini bar” in Sydney is also no comparison to these offerings in Melbourne. The pizza in Perth on the other end is my always favourite though!

That a shame you have the coriander taste like soap gene. For the rest of us, it would lift something like that to another level. Not too mention heaps more chilli!

Pre-Covid, Kale and Lentil soup was doing the rounds of various VA lounges….

Sorry, that's mint you are taliking about. who ever heard of coriander flavour toothpaste! You should be able to tell the difference!

Nope. It’s a genetic thing that a small proportion of the population despise coriander because to them, it taste like soap.

Fortunately, I’m not one of those!
