Spire Benefits

During COVID times, I haven't received any benefits as a Plat. level member.
I've now been elevated to Spire, and stayed at a Holiday Inn over the weekend ... and still didn't get anything more than:
"Thank you for being a Spire-level Member" ...
Are other Spire members actually receiving upgrades or 'benefits' ??

Generally found benefits in Australia to be very much in line with Spire offerings, which is very little. I always receive a room upgrade and the drink or points on check in but that's about it. Throughout Asia and Europe though I have always had breakfast for +1 and I complimentary with acknowledgement it is for being a Spire level member, on top of the above. Typically staying at Crowne Plaza or Holiday Inn properties

Property in question is still half closed.
Only base rooms are available.
All suits on upper floors are closed, as is hotel restaurant.

I want to stay on good terms with this particular hotel, for it's convenience ...
Otherwise I'd give them a serve of my thoughts on false COVID shutdowns ( unnecessary, compared to clubs and pub restaurants ).
Wouldn't hurt to at least offer bottled water, or a wine !!
