Excellent, I can now get mortal in the VA lounges.
Well it is a good thing they are trailing spirits... so at the very least lots of feedback about keeping them would be a good thing.
Can I suggest that everyone who doesn't like the selection just takes one for the team and order something ???
We have to start somewhere
Surely the way to keep the spirits would be to give feedback like:
"Thank you, management are superstars, but I won't be drinking that much of the spirits."
No need to twist my armNah, the only feedback they will understand IMHO is either the grog was consumed or it wasn't.
If the latter it's back to beer, wine and soda.
So drink up, it's your civic duty

It is an offence for crew to allow intoxicated passengers onboard an aircraft in Australia. (CAR 286)
It is a positive step and good to see! I never really understood the 'logic' behind not having spirits in the first place.
Referring to the pax in the photo, in order to qualify for spirit consumption is it mandatory to be wearing a singlet and 'poo-catcher' pants?
Is that what they are called? Love it.Referring to the pax in the photo, in order to qualify for spirit consumption is it mandatory to be wearing a singlet and 'poo-catcher' pants?
Good start. A vodka and orange or gin and tonic is good before a flight.
If there isn't tonic I found Schweppes LemonLimeOrange mineral water a fantastic alternative to mix with gin. There's tonic at the VA lounge? I guess I've never spotted it because I don't usually have it without gin..
