If there isn't tonic I found Schweppes LemonLimeOrange mineral water a fantastic alternative to mix with gin.

As someone who doesn't drink beer or wine, this was always a deal breaker when considering VA lounge membership. For the first 4 & 1/2 pages, I was reconsidering..
Guess I'll wait for the outcome of the trial

Trial? What a load of bollocks. Spirits in a "club" style lounge is not optional. It's just that VA were true to form and did the lounges like everything else they do..... in half measures.......watch the spirits, a full nip might be outlawed, a bit like a full muffin on-board.....why give something that's normal, when you can give a 50c piece sized joke. Hopefully, this "trial" is a sign that someone with an once of common sense has been brought into the fold now that their "2015.....create indifference" plan has expired (wasn't that a work of sheer genius). Hopefully they may just look at the tired old buffet bar as well and oh, someone who can fix the IT issues.......

Gin is pretty fabulous with Moscato and a slice of lime. Do they still have the IB Moscato in the lounge?

I wasn't aware that when a female wears a singlet it's called a blouse. Gender these days, who can really tell anyway. In terms of spirits, I couldn't care less anyway, I'm strictly beer or wine in the lounges.
