So you finally admit it?Yes it definitely is an advantage getting two suites.....one for dining , drinking Krug and movies and the other as a bedroom.
Would appear that the Dom / PH rare from TPR kicking in cobber?
in case I missed it, do you simply, ask cabin staff if there are vacant seats and ask if you can take them?It may be indeed.
It's tough posting on the phone with Krug in one hand.
For those that don't speak Kruglish we have commandeered 4 suites. 2 window seats for take off, 1 shared while dining and 2 centre suites for some napping.
It truly is a better way to fly.
Now that I am feeling refreshed it is time for another assault on the stockpile of Krug.

If my intel is correct MALE / FEMALE amenities will be replaced by UNISEX amenities in TPR / F / J Lounge refurbs - toilets will also be included in shower rooms - not sure if that extends to J lounge - I will try to find out some more details Sep 2.
Maybe or maybe not - FWIW it did come from Senior Lounge Mgmt.Absolute pure uninformed specultion but tht reads like CX style cabanas to me

Hi all Im flying SQ to Frankfurt with a 23 hour stop over in Sin, We have booked a night at the crown, question is, does our checked lugage go straight through and we just take our carry on?
The SQ A380 service to MEL is now seasonal - SQ217/SQ218 used to be an A380 everyday, however SQ found that their big bird is needed due to demands at other ports such as BOM, DEL, NRT, etc.also is it normal that every flight to singapore is a 777? I thought the O/N flights were a380?
SIA’s Singapore – Melbourne SQ217/218 service will be operated by A380, instead of 777-300ER, from 27OCT19 to 31JAN20 (SIN departure).
awesome help, thanksThe SQ A380 service to MEL is now seasonal - SQ217/SQ218 used to be an A380 everyday, however SQ found that their big bird is needed due to demands at other ports such as BOM, DEL, NRT, etc.
SQ sends A380 birds to MEL typically in June/July and November/December each year to cope with increased demands in the Northern Summer and Christmas/New Year periods respectively.
Keep an eye out on RoutesOnline for any scheduled aircraft swaps, especially between the 777-300ER and A380 at MEL. For example:
Singapore Airlines increases Melbourne / Wellington service from Jan 2020
awesome help, thanks
and another OT question,
in May 2020 im landing in hkg at 10pm, for a 7am flight out, flying J
Iassume I can use the business class lounge till 11pm at HKG and wait for it to reopen at 6am?
sorry, shou;ld have been a bit clearer, going to HKG with singapore airlines, and then leaving HKG on emiratesWhich airlines? Star alliance would allow you to use the SQ lounge which is open until 0030. The TG lounge then opens at 0530. So you'd have 5 hours to fill in.
With CX/oneoworld you'll find the lounges open a fair bit later, until the last CX departure.
