SQ Website Failings

I cannot for the life of me get the mobile site to work. Always an error.
I had a similar problem. There have been a few different SQ mobile apps. I found I had two on my phone. One did not work which I have since deleted so can't tell you the name. The one that I have that does work is called "SQ Mobile"
 
The SQ Mobile app won't even display the 'Krisflyer Redemption' tab when I log in now.

Latest version is 8.1 btw.

I just use my IPad to log on book the Suites pay the fees and log off with no issues.
 
It would get less appealing to me if I wasted 15 minutes getting nowhere but of course doing it quickly.
 
Yes the tried and true method cove - but there have been some advantages in using SQ Mobile over the web site that are appealing.

Mot sure if something's changed recently but am seeing more of the longer layover times (15+ hrs) on the normal website now. Still doesn't match the 31 hrs + that can be found elsewhere...

what would happen there if you had checked in luggage? Could you ask for it to be tagged only to SIN or would you be without it the whole time?

Yep... I found a fairly long layover on the normal website. And then the mobile site had shorter layovers that the normal website didn't have? Oh SQ, you keep it interesting - I'll say that.
 
Have spoken with SQ / KF call centre this morn - they were totally unaware of failings of SQ Mobile V8.1 - they asked me to send screen shots and they will get IT guys to rectify ASAP - hopefully it will be soon.

FWIW KF rep had V7.3 on his phone which worked perfectly - don't be afraid to update occasionally sunshine! :confused:

BUT

Before logging in tap 'Book Flight' and it will open page showing 'Krisflyer Redemption? YES NO' - tap YES - a box opens telling you 'Redemption booking requires login'. - so choose 'Proceed' - login page appears - login - then you automatically go to 'Book Flight' page and 'Krisflyer Redemption?' tab is now there - go figure.

there whole system is screwed
if you need to book a partner you aver to go thru the tedious phone prompts to get to a clueless res agent who you ache to tell to look for flights. then they tell you they can't put on hold which isn't true so you tell them they are telling you incorrect info
so then u go to a supervisor who not only finds what you a re asking for but put the flts on a courtesy hold for 3 days
all time wasting!!!
 
There has been no update to Mobile App for yonks - latest Vers 8.1 still not allowing Redemption Bookings - everybody still experiencing same?

Anybody still using Vers 7? If YES does it allow Redemption Bookings?
 
I do all of my SQ Kris Flyer miles bookings on a PC so it is click and click and pay the fees then print a copy of the deal. No issue for me as I would not want to try to do a $20,000 value on a 5 inch screen (or smaller) for the two of us.
It only takes 10 or 15 minutes and then it is "what's next" (provided you have the credit cards and passport details ready).

OT: This is where I'm going wrong. I need to be using a bigger screen to get bigger deals? I'll upgrade my office PC to a 100" flat screen and my hopefully turnover will be larger for 2014.
