Haha - 3 bookings in suites in the next 3 months

I am just a tad happy ;) considering my last 7 mid-haul flights have been QF Y it's going to be a slight step up

Saver level? All 1 pax bookings?

(When do we get to hear of your SO travelling in Suites? ;) )

Saver level - 2 pax bookings :)

Sometime in Feb perhaps!

My SO has always travelled in Y, so I think she'll like it.......

That's six Suites Saver seats!!

Excuse me whilst I find my eye balls somewhere on the floor.....

Our family have quite a few bookings and I avoid trying what the site currently cannot do. It avoids frustration as going from Perth to Singapore is not on their A380 anyway. They are really good for booking out of Singapore to the places we are going and then the Perth - Singapore I do afterwards.

The biggest problem I have had with it is inability to cancel bookings or waitlists online - the need to call up and cancel is just archaic.

The ability to cancel Waitlists is working for the past few months.
Yes recent 'enhancement' but for over 2 years it was not possible and were the KFF call centre staff so pissed that this function disappeared from old site when it was 'refreshed'.

And still to cancel a confirmed redemption you still have to call - whereas on the good 'ol days it was a simple click click and you were done.

Hi Folks

Late to this thread but has the regulars here noticed that seat redemption seems to have stopped at Oct 25th.

QF has already released Classic Award seats for Nov 7th, 2014 and SQ - in the recent past - has always been T + 354 days i.e. it should be able to book ahead for Nov 8th / 9th by today.

Instead, any city in Europe that I tried - post Oct 25th - returned with the same reply "no flight available", even for paid flights.

(Most forward redemption is Oct 25th)

(Most forward paid booking is also Oct 25th)

What's more interesting is that it has "stuck" at Oct 25th for approx 2 weeks now.

Weird !

Any thoughts ?

Thanks

PS: just got off the phone to SQ who politely told me the "latest" redemption available on her screen is Oct 16th, 2014 (one week earlier than what I could see from the screen). I politely thanked her and ended the call.

I was looking at November 2014 and it did become obvious that I was too far out for the booking engine.

It appears to work for me out to Oct 25, 2014 - which is 328 days - I always thought it was set 350 days out - but I might be wrong.

Qantas with Amadeus is 353 days, AA with SABRE is 330 days .... what does SQ employ?

No idea of the back office sysytems

But previously, I could always rely on T + 354 days..... until recently when it seems to have "stuck" at Oct 25th for weeks - even for paid flights !!!!
